RFS® prides itself on becoming an extension of the Facilities Manager. Part of the value that RFS® provides to our clients includes site visits and estimating, especially for complex projects. Custom installation projects can be complex. It helps to have an experienced general contractor in your corner. For many this means that we become your photographer, measurement taker, or even sketch artist. Our Project Managers conduct site visits for our clients, and develop material and labor estimates that ultimately become a hard quote for your project. During these site visits, we work with local management and “Chef” to develop an ergonomic wish list, ultimately replacing inefficiency and wasted space, and increasing the output of your kitchen.
RFS® Project Managers have been trained by FSF Manufacturing in the various nuances of custom stainless manufacturing. These include space measurement, evaluation of entry points for larger equipment (is the door big enough for this cook line to fit through?), evaluation of services (do we have adequate power, water, gas?), location of drains, hardware requirements, location of lighting, and potential floor or space modifications. With the completion of this training, and the development of in-house processes, our team is ready to not only help you install your custom stainless equipment, but can help you on the front end of the project with the estimate and development of FSF provided drawings for your approval.
