RFS® Construction

How is rfs® Construction different from Rfs® facilities?

RFS® Construction is dedicated to larger remodels, renovations, and buildouts. A typical RFS® Construction project falls within the $100,000.00 - $500,000.00 range and involves multiple specialty trade contractors managed by an RFS® Construction Superintendent. RFS® Construction projects usually involve owner design and are bid to a set of blueprints, where our Facilities team usually “figures out” a solution for the client on much smaller scale projects.

RFS® One Call

What is RFS® One Call?

RFS® One Call is a rapid-response service for small, specialty-trade repairs including but not limited to Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC/Mechanical, Glass, Roofing Repairs, etc. These repairs are passed through at a lower price-point than large Facilities projects as we are partnering with local tradesmen and RFS® crews and Project Management are not involved.

What trades does RFS® One Call offer?

RFS® One Call offers Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC / Mechanical Contractors, Glass Specialists, Roofers, Handymen, Door Specialists, Locksmiths, and more specialty trades all over the country. If you are in need of a specialty tradesman not listed above, please do reach out (onecall@rfsrenovates.com) to see if we already have a One Call solution to your specific need.

How do I know what’s happening with my One Call project?

All RFS® clients are assigned an RFS® Client Experience Manager (CEM) who closely monitors your projects and communicates regularly with you. You can connect with your CEM 24/7/365 via cell or email with any additional questions you may have regarding your specific project. Upon completion of your RFS® One Call project, you will receive a Project Completion Update directly to your email inbox with photos and a comprehensive update of what was done at your site.

Can my General Managers (GM’s) submit One Call work orders directly to RFS®?

Absolutely! Many of our Facility Managers (FM) have given our contact info directly to their GM’s for most immediate response. Typically, the FM gives their RFS® Client Experience Manager (CEM) an NTE that all GM’s must remain under and the RFS® CEM ensures the project stays within that budget-range and the restaurant is billed directly. Once the project is complete, the FM and GM both receive the Project Completion Update via email ensuring there are no surprises or issues with the project.

Where is One Call available?

RFS® One Call is up and running in all 50 states! Contact us today to open a work order for your repair need: onecall@rfsrenovates.com.

How is RFS® One Call different than RFS® Facilities?

One Call projects are often small, hourly, trade-specific emergency repairs. If we do not need to send an RFS® crew or an RFS® Project Manager to your site, we are pulling a vetted contractor from our proprietary One Call database, and passing those savings along to you, the customer. RFS® Facilities projects are highly complex, “figure-it-out” scenarios, consisting of at least a full night’s worth of work, utilizing a multi-skilled RFS® crew on-site, and are managed by an RFS® Project Manager.

How do I submit a One Call work order?

RFS® One Call orders can be submitted through several channels. You may call, text, or email your RFS® Client Experience Manager directly, email onecall@rfsrenovates.com, or open a work order through your company’s preferred portal. RFS® is currently operating in Service Channel, Corrigo, and Ecotrak, but if you’d like to add us to your company’s specific portal, please email onecall@rfsrenovates.com and we will set that up right away so you may begin submitting work orders.

How does RFS® vet contractors added to the One Call database?

RFS® adds new contractors to the One Call database upon receiving their insurance documents (Workers Comp & General Liability), as well as photos and / or samples of the contractor’s previous work. Additionally, RFS® closely monitors all One Call contractors’ work and rates them after each project completed to ensure you are receiving the highest rated contractor available in your area. Factors such as responsiveness, price, and quality, all factor into the RFS® One Call contractor rating system.

Are One Call projects always quoted first, or can I submit T&M (Time & Materials) emergency requests utilizing an NTE?

No. We can certainly send a contractor to your site immediately and bill you T&M (Time & Materials) on the back end. An NTE from you is always most helpful as it will ensure we stay within your desired budget – we know times are tough these days and we never want you to be surprised or sticker-shocked. Just let your RFS® Client Experience Manager know whether or not you would like this project to be quoted first or approved T&M (“go and do” now! with an NTE).

How does RFS® One Call benefit me (the FM)?

When an immediate need arises in a market that you may be less familiar with, RFS® One Call can handle that need and prevent you from calling around and looking for a service provider, collecting insurance documentation, following up on the request, setting up a new vendor in your system, and ensuring your facility is satisfied…all with one phone call.

What makes RFS® One Call different than other nationwide Call-Centers?

At RFS®, quality matters. We don’t dispatch contactors we do not know. We thoroughly vet our trade partners to ensure they have the necessary insurance documents your corporate entity requires, and that their work meets our quality standards. Should an issue arise, your RFS® Client Experience Manager, is at your disposal 24/7 and we always make it right. You never have to worry with RFS®.

What do One Call projects cost?

One Call final pricing differs from project to project. The final pricing is determinant on the number of hours the tradesman needed spends resolving your repair. RFS® One Call projects are passed through at a lower price-point than RFS® Facilities projects because One Call projects do not involve RFS® crews or RFS® Project Managers.

Can I request a One Call quote before committing to the project?

Always! We are happy to gather a bid for you, should you wish to see a quote before approving your project. Please communicate your desired price-range with your RFS® Client Experience Manager to ensure we are most effectively and efficiently meeting your specific needs.

Can I submit an NTE for my One Call work order request?

Absolutely! An NTE always helps us quickly understand your budget and expedites the process of us finding the most appropriate contractor for your needs and getting them to your site immediately.
